Follow up to “A walk in the woods with Jack”

My friend Reed is a retired neurologist with a wry sense of humor. We were partners in the same neurology group practice for some twenty years. I always enjoyed his whimsical cartoons that he would produce sometimes several times a day. This morning we had the following text message exchange regarding my blog post about taking Jack for a walk in the woods:
