CBS Sunday Morning interview
In a previous post, I mentioned being interviewed for a segment on CBS Sunday Morning. I found out yesterday that the interview will air this Sunday as part of a larger story on the aducanumab/Aduhelm controversy. For those of you who might be interested, a teaser is online now, and it includes an excerpt from my book, A Tattoo on my Brain: A Neurologist’s Personal Battle against Alzheimer’s Disease. The program for Sunday’s show can be found here. After the show airs on Sunday morning, it should be available online.
We saw bits of your interview on TV this morning. You sure left them with a cliffhanger: that you know how to slow down the decline of Alzheimer’s. I’d think every listener would want to hear more about that.
Thanks Anne. You are right that the interview with me went on for more than an hour and most of it was spent discussing ways to slow the progression of Alzheimer’s.. None of that made into the final version. The aducanumab controversy was only a small part of my discussion with Susan Spencer, but that’s what made it into the final clip. I would encourage people to read Tattoo to get the full story.
